Agla, a young police officer, rushes into a psychiatrist's office during another patient's therapy session. She wants to get some medicine. Lots of medicine. She has experienced something terrible and just wants to sleep and forget. But the psychiatrist won't let Agla off so easily, because he thinks he has just the right help. The psychiatrist has developed a method that can completely cure shame. Agla's memories and stories from the past take her from the 70s to the present day, to Grandma's place in Florida and back to cold Iceland.
